Fond Memories of Past Trots

The 2009 Holmes Chiropractic Turkey Trot was a great success! We had over 1,800 people registered and despite the light rain, it looks like everyone had a great time. Enjoy the slideshow below!

Last year, we expected about 800 participants. Instead, we had over 1,200!! This year, we are planning on 1,500-2,000 runners. A limited amount of water (thanks Costco!) will be available at the event.

The trot begins at the Gig Harbor Post Office (3118 Judson St., 98335), where you can drop off your cans of food and prepare for the race. Day-of Registration starts at 6:30 AM and will be under the awning between the post office and QFC. You will also be able to pay and pick up t-shirts and bib numbers the day of the race (although we encourage everyone to pay ahead of time, to make for a quick and less-chaotic process).

5k and 10k Routes

The Start of both routes is in front of Skansie Park. There will be volunteers along the way to guide you. For the latter half of the 10k, follow the green arrows on the map below. For the 5k, you will turn around approximately where the purple circle is. The End of both routes is back in front of Skansie Park.
